Job Overview:
Cerebral Brewing is looking to add a talented and motivated Packaging Specialist to our team to further the growth of our nationally recognized and award winning brand. The Packaging Specialist is responsible for the packaging of beer in all formats (cans, bottles and kegs) as well as associated maintenance on packaging equipment. This role will also entail cellaring tasks like transfers, CIP/SIP and dry-hopping. This position is for our Aurora Arts location but may require occasional shifts at our Congress Park location.
Responsibilities:
- Packaging of brite and still beer in kegs, bottles, and cans while working to minimize loss and DO pickup
- Perform (and document) all necessary preventative maintenance on packaging equipment
- Perform necessary repairs to canning line and related packaging equipment
- Cleaning of FVs, BTs, kegs and packaging equipment using industry best practices
- Perform cold side additions and yeast harvests/pitches
- Low-oxygen transfers, carbonation monitoring, and True-to-Brand assessment
- Coordinate with Logistics Manager to track packaging material inventory including can brites, ends, case trays, bottles and 4-pack holders
- Manage all quality related record keeping and compliance documentation
- Filling, emptying, and sampling barrels as needed for special projects
- Collaboration and creative ideation of new products and modification of existing projects
- Adhere to existing SOPs and contribute to the refinement and drafting of new SOPs
Qualifications:
- We are a small team of dedicated beer professionals – a positive attitude is a must
- Minimum 2 years of relevant packaging experience (experience running a Wild Goose canning line is strongly preferred)
- Close attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to problem solve on the fly
- Ability to work unsupervised while maintaining safety and quality standards
- Self-motivated with good time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple processes at one time
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members throughout the brewery
- Availability to work nights and weekends if necessary
- Maintain and manage safe working practices, including chemical handling, use of PPE, etc
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move 55lb bags of grain and move 165lb kegs
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods, stoop, crawl, twist, turn, lift, kneel and climb ladders/stairs
- Ability to operate a forklift, scissor lift and pallet jack (forklift training available)
Compensation and Benefits:
- $21-23/hr – adjusted based on experience and performance

Job Overview
This individual will primarily be stationed at the entrance of our patio in order to ensure our guests are greeted warmly and that they do not carry open containers of alcohol beyond our licensed premises.
Responsibilities
- Greets all guests and sets the tone for excellent customer service
- Checks identification to verify guests are of legal drinking age
- Assists and directs guests as needed; acts as a venue ambassador by assisting with any guest requests and/or questions
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly, friendly, and efficiently
- Kindly manage guests showing signs of intoxication or general unruliness from entering the taproom
- Ensure all guests adhere to our safety policies and procedures
- Communicates any potential guest service issues to management with a sense of urgency and handles them accordingly
- Perform opening and closing duties according to the door checklist
- Assist teammates with other tasks as need be
Requirements
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Open availability, including weekend nights and holidays
- Passionate about guest service and hospitality
- Able to stand for long periods of time
Compensation & Benefits
- $19/hour
