Job Overview
The General Manager is responsible for curating the taproom customer experience for all Cerebral Brewing locations in alignment with Cerebral Brewing’s mission, vision and values. This role will be responsible for directly managing a team of taproom employees and working closely with other functions of the business including Operations, Production, and Marketing. This position will oversee the launch of our Aurora Arts taproom alongside the maintenance of our current taproom in Congress Park. This position reports directly to the CEO. This is a full-time position (40 hrs/wk).

Job Responsibilities:
- Manages the overall operations and customer experience of all taprooms
- Conducts interviews, oversees hiring, training, and appropriate staff scheduling for multiple locations
- Supervises all front of house employees either directly or indirectly with discretion to set up a taproom leadership structure
- Direct all taproom cleaning, maintenance and necessary improvements
- Manage and assist in coordinating with individual in charge of food truck scheduling
- Analyzes sales and profitability to determine successes and opportunities for growth
- Oversees public and private events from lead-up through execution; Manage taproom reservations and buyouts
- Assists in managing the brewery merchandise program, including online sales
- Oversees taproom inventory management
- Works with marketing, events, and production heads to ensure collaborative flow of brewery & taproom operations
Required Experience and Abilities:
- 2+ years of general management experience in the craft beer, restaurant, or service industry (or similar industry experience)
- Excellent, unwavering customer-service skills
- Ability to effectively manage and inspire people
- Fundamental knowledge of beer styles, serving, and draft equipment
- Knowledge and experience with restaurant/brewery POS systems (Arryved preferred) and time management systems
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

- $60,000 – 70,000 (Adjusted based on experience)

Job Overview
As a bartender at our Aurora Arts taproom, you will be responsible for ensuring that customers have an enjoyable experience. You will be expected to serve customers promptly, engage in conversation, be knowledgeable about our products and keep the bar area clean and well-stocked.
Responsibilities
- Customer service – Provide excellent customer service to all patrons, including greeting customers, making recommendations, engaging in friendly conversation, and ensuring a positive experience for everyone who walks through the door
- Product knowledge – Maintain a strong understanding of our beers and other products, including flavor profiles, brewing processes, and ingredients, to provide accurate information and recommendations to customers
- Company ambassador – Represent our brand and Company values in all customer interactions. This includes creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all
- Conflict management – Handle difficult situations and attempt to de-escalate when possible
- Inventory – Monitor all inventory levels and restock fridge, change kegs and replace merchandise as needed
- Opening, mid-shift and closing duties – Follow all SOPs including, but not limited to,tasks such as setting up and breaking down the bar area, cleaning equipment, monitoring bathrooms, maintaining cleanliness and restocking supplies
- Order management – Accurately input orders into the point-of-sale system and, for cash transactions, receive cash from guests and make any change needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Abide by all State, Federal and Local requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages
- Able to work at least two shifts on two days per week on Friday, Saturday or Sunday

- $14.27 / hr + tips (pooled weekly by location)

Job Overview
This individual will primarily be stationed at the entrance of our patio in order to ensure our guests are greeted warmly and that they do not carry open containers of alcohol beyond our licensed premises.
Responsibilities
- Greets all guests and sets the tone for excellent customer service
- Checks identification to verify guests are of legal drinking age
- Assists and directs guests as needed; acts as a venue ambassador by assisting with any guest requests and/or questions
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly, friendly, and efficiently
- Kindly manage guests showing signs of intoxication or general unruliness from entering the taproom
- Ensures all guests adhere to our safety policies and procedures
- Communicates any potential guest service issues to management with a sense of urgency and handles them accordingly
- Perform opening and closing duties according to the door checklist
- Assist teammates with other tasks as need be
