Job Overview
The General Manager is responsible for curating the taproom customer experience for all Cerebral Brewing locations in alignment with Cerebral Brewing’s mission, vision, and values. This role will be responsible for directly managing a team of taproom employees and working closely with other functions of the business, including Operations, Production, and Marketing. This position will collaborate with ownership to launch our Aurora Arts taproom and build up our current taproom team at Congress Park with a focus on customer service improvements. Embedded in this role is the opportunity to craft a team at our new location and contribute to the vision and execution of any future taproom expansions.

Job Responsibilities:
- Manages the overall operations and customer experience of all taprooms
- Conducts interviews, oversees hiring, training, and optimizes staff scheduling across multiple locations
- Supervises all front-of-house employees either directly or indirectly and actively manages performance to maintain a high level of service quality and taproom atmosphere
- Directs and oversee all taproom cleaning, maintenance, and necessary improvements
- Analyzes taproom sales and profitability to determine successes and opportunities for growth
- Works with the Events Manager to oversee public and private events and is responsible for day-of execution and taproom event success
- Assists in managing the taproom merchandise program, including online sales (shipping and pickup), and coordinates with Marketing on customer feedback and reordering
- Oversees taproom alcoholic and non-alcoholic inventory and quality control, including coordination with Operations on beer depletion and ‘reorder’ points
- Collaborates and actively participates with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Production as a part of our Leadership Team
- Establish a consistent weekly schedule (including weekends) with the ability to be flexible around events and Monday work as required
Required Experience and Abilities:
- 2+ years of general management experience in the craft beer, restaurant, or service industry (or similar industry experience), with a preference for individuals who have overseen more than one location and/or been part of launching a new location
- Excellent, unwavering customer service skills
- Great time management skills
- Ability to effectively manage and inspire people
- Fundamental knowledge of beer styles, serving, and draft equipment
- Knowledge and experience with restaurant/brewery POS systems and time management systems
- TIPS trained
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Salary & Benefits:
- $70,000 – 80,000 (Adjusted based on experience)
