BREWER

Job responsibilities include:

  • Raw materials: Assessment, organization, management, and inventory

  • Wort production: Production of specified wort with attention to detail and world-class manufacturing techniques

  • Yeast management: Harvesting, pitching, cell counts, and daily monitoring of in-house grown yeast

  • Barrel program: Filling, emptying, and sampling as needed

  • Collaboration: Creative ideation of new products and modification of existing projects

  • Bright beer: Low-oxygen transfers, carbonation monitoring, and True-to-Brand assessment

  • Packaging: Packaging of brite and still beer in kegs, bottles, and cans

  • CIP Operations: Cleaning of FVs, BTs, and Brewhouse using industry best practices

Required experience and abilities:

  • We are a small team of dedicated beer professionals - a positive attitude is a must Minimum 2 years of relevant brewing experience

  • Brewing-related certification or degree preferred

  • Intensive attention to detail

  • Ability to work unsupervised while maintaining safety and quality standards

  • Self-motivated with good time management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple processes at one time

  • Ability to effectively communicate with team members throughout the brewery

  • Availability to work nights and occasional weekends

  • Ability to meet physical challenges of working in a production brewery

This is a full time position (35 to 40+ hrs/wk). Cellarperson/Lab Assistant

Job responsibilities include:

  • Operate fermentation, cellaring, and sanitation systems according to SOPs

  • Maintain established quality parameters within the raw material handling and cellar operations

  • Monitor mechanical and operational integrity of brewing equipment, assisting in general maintenance as required

  • Actively and effectively communicate with fellow team members

  • Work with prescribed cleaning chemicals, based upon established protocol, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements

  • Maintain sanitary standards for the microbial integrity of finished products

  • Maintain the operational and aesthetic condition of the facility

Required experience and abilities:

  • Must be able to work in a varying environment, including hot and cold temperatures, while standing, walking, and climbing stairs continuously up to 10 hours per day.

  • Demonstrated mechanical proficiency.

  • The ability to follow and understand SOP's, multitasking and attention to detail are a must.

  • Able to lift 55 lbs and move 165 lbs occasionally

  • Able to stand for 8-10 hours per day

  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities

TAPROOM STAFF

Job responsibilities include:

We are looking for experienced bartenders with relatively flexible schedules to shore up our front of house staff. Position will include both bartending shifts and production support shifts, i.e. labeling, bottling, canning.

Required experience and abilities:

• Minimum 2 years of service-related experience, with emphasis on taproom/bar being a plus

• Basic knowledge concerning beer styles and brewing in general

• Certified Beer Server, Cicerone, TIPS not required, but are also considered a plus
