Job Overview:
Cerebral Brewing is seeking a talented and motivated Marketing & Events Manager to further the growth of our nationally recognized, award-winning brand. This role is responsible for developing and executing events across all Cerebral Brewing taprooms, managing membership programs, and implementing marketing strategies that support and amplify taproom activations. You will craft, manage, and execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels while collaborating with internal teams (taprooms, sales, operations) and external partners (graphic design, vendors) to engage the community, reach new customers, generate incremental taproom revenue, and help drive the overall marketing vision of the brewery from ideation through execution and debrief.
Responsibilities:
Marketing:
- Develop and guide an omnichannel marketing strategy that aligns with Cerebral Brewing’s brand and business goals, using customer insights, digital trends, and best practices to increase awareness and drive engagement.
- Oversee content strategy and creation across all marketing channels including social media (Instagram, Facebook), email newsletters, website updates, print collateral, and sell sheets, demonstrating strong attention to detail and time management.
- Collaborate with the brand and content team to develop a compelling content calendar and ensure brand voice consistency across all channels.
- Monitor key performance metrics across platforms and adjust marketing tactics accordingly, applying project management tools to keep deliverables on schedule.
Taproom Events:
- Serve as the project manager for all taproom events, partnering with the General Manager and Hospitality Managers to concept, plan, and oversee event execution timelines and logistics.
- Create and pitch revenue-driving, on-brand events tailored to each taproom’s needs, as well as community-facing events that align with the brewery’s wholesale sales and brand goals.
- Maintain detailed project plans and internal communications for each event, including timelines, staffing, supplies, budget, and day-of logistics handoff to Hospitality Managers.
- Coordinate food truck bookings that align with event themes, guest expectations, and taproom schedules to ensure a cohesive guest experience.
- Develop and refine a standardized post-event evaluation process, using insights to inform and improve future planning and performance tracking.
Community Events & Partner Engagement:
- Manage incoming events and collaboration inquiries, serving as the primary point of contact for external partners, customers, and vendors, with strong communication and customer service skills.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with community groups, small businesses, and event partners to increase brand visibility and create new revenue opportunities.
- Oversee all donation and nonprofit partnership requests, working to establish mutually beneficial partnerships that reflect the brewery’s values and community presence.
Memberships:
- Manage all aspects of Cerebral Brewing’s membership program, including member communications, exclusive events, beer releases, and tracking ROI to optimize future offerings.
- Ensure a high level of service and communication for members, reinforcing loyalty and community among our most engaged supporters.
Private Events:
- Serve as the point person for private event rentals across all taproom locations, handling inquiries, booking, communication, and event-day coordination with internal teams.
- Ensure smooth execution of private events by managing expectations, coordinating logistics, and delivering clear information to staff and guests.
Requirements:
- 3 years of relevant experience as a Marketing or Associate Marketing Manager
- 1-3 years of event and community engagement management experience
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work without supervision and juggle many priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience with commercially available project management tools and methodologies, event planning best practices, and trends
- Self-motivated with good time management skills
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field, or equivalent experience is a plus
- Must be at least 21 years of age to apply

Job Overview:
Cerebral Brewing is looking to add a talented and motivated Lead Brewer to our team to further the growth of our nationally recognized and award winning brand. The Lead Brewer will work with the Head Brewer and Production team to ensure our beer is cared for and meets our rigorous QA/QC standards. The Lead Brewer will oversee all day-to-day hot side processes as well as quality control checks and quality assurance measures to ensure product standards and package stability.This role is primarily headquartered at our Aurora Arts facility but requires occasional / flexible travel between locations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise brew day operations – mash temp, salt, acid, volume, gravity, and hop adjustments as needed
- Coach and lead brewing team with a focus on productivity, attention to detail, innovation and maintaining high standards
- Write and edit recipes and brewlogs at the direction of the Head Brewer
- Work with Head Brewer to maintain Ekos compliance across the team from entering in new inventory to recipe creation, transfers, and packaging
- Work with Head Brewer to train new hires and the brewing team on the implementation of new processes and procedures
- Assist with the planning of brewhouse preventive maintenance, cleaning, and repair
- Work with Head Brewer, Cellar Lead and Packaging Lead on schedule planning to maintain an efficient and optimum workflow on a weekly basis
- Assist with planning and implementation of special projects
- Work with Cellar Lead and Head Brewer to make adjustments to beers fermenting, lagering, and conditioning in cellar before packaging to ensure each beer is the best it can be
- Manage raw material inventory – including ordering, pars, and monthly adjustments
- Help in the cellar when there is no brewing work at the direction of Cellar Lead
- Represent the company and attend taproom and in-market events as needed
- Develop, maintain, and organize SOPs for all brewhouse operations with Head Brewer
- Ongoing communication with Head Brewer, Cellar Lead and Packaging Lead with the goal of improving quality, productivity, cost reduction and brewer growth
- The duties of this role will be in addition to the duties and SOPs of the Brewer position:
- Manage all quality related record keeping and compliance documentation
- Assessment, organization, management, and inventory of raw materials
- Production of specified wort with attention to detail and world-class manufacturing techniques
- Filling, emptying, and sampling barrels as needed for special projects
- Collaboration and creative ideation of new products and modification of existing projects
- Low-oxygen transfers, carbonation monitoring, and True-to-Brand assessment
- Packaging of brite and still beer in kegs, bottles, and cans
- Cleaning of FVs, BTs, and Brewhouse using industry best practices
Qualifications:
- We are a small team of dedicated beer professionals – a positive attitude is a must
- Minimum 2 years of relevant brewing experience
- Brewing-related certification or degree preferred
- Close attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to problem solve on the fly
- Ability to work unsupervised while maintaining safety and quality standards
- Self-motivated with good time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple processes at one time
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members throughout the brewery
- Availability to work nights and weekends
- Maintain and manage safe working practices, including chemical handling, use of PPE, etc
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move 55lb bags of grain and move 165lb kegs
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods, stoop, crawl, twist, turn, lift, kneel and climb ladders/stairs
- Ability to operate a forklift, scissor lift and pallet jack (forklift training available)
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range: $52,000-$58,000 (commiserate with experience)

Job Overview
The Aurora Arts Hospitality Manager is responsible for overseeing taproom operations during assigned shifts. This role ensures that quality control, customer service, and cleanliness are adhered to while maintaining a productive and positive work environment. The Hospitality Manager coordinates with various departments to ensure seamless taproom operations, manages event logistics, and contributes to continuous improvement efforts, including maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality. The Hospitality Manager also partners with the General Manager to align local operations with broader company objectives.
Responsibilities
Supervision and Leadership:
- Lead and manage taproom staff during assigned shifts
- Foster a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and high morale
- Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members
Customer Service and Hospitality:
- Maintain high standards for customer service and hospitality, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all visitors
- Train staff on best practices for customer interaction and service excellence
- Address customer feedback and complaints promptly and professionally
Quality Control:
- Ensure that all products meet the brewery’s rigorous quality standards
- Conduct regular quality checks
- Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions
Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards or violations

- Collaborate with Marketing team to plan and promote events
- Oversee food truck scheduling and updating the food truck calendar
- Partner with outside vendors to execute all needs for collaborative events and fundraisers
Cleanliness and Sanitation:
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the taproom and common areas
- Implement and monitor cleaning schedules for equipment, bar area, taproom and common spaces
- Ensure all sanitation procedures comply with industry standards and regulations
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Stay informed about industry trends and up to date on the flavor profiles of current beers on tap and for sale.
Partnering with General Manager:
- Collaborate with the General Manager to align Aurora Arts taproom operations with broader company objectives
- Provide regular updates and reports on shift operations and performance
- Implement strategic initiatives and directives from the General Manager to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of quality control and safety activities.
- Prepare and submit documentation regarding team member feedback to the General Manager
- Participate in regular meetings to discuss performance and improvement opportunities
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a brewery or hospitality environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- In-depth knowledge of taproom operations, quality control standards, and customer service best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and reasoning skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in using brewery management software and other relevant computer applications
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights,weekends, and events
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Good sensory skills (sight, smell, taste) for quality control purposes
Compensation
- $17.79/hour plus tips
