Job Overview
Cerebral Brewing is looking for a motivated full time Logistics Driver to transport beer and materials between our locations and deliver to wholesale accounts. This is a fast-paced position that involves lifting, lowering, and carrying kegs and cases. It is ideal for someone who is dependable, flexible, and enjoys working autonomously with little direction.
Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles in accordance with company safety policies & procedures, while maintaining overall cleanliness and organization of the vehicles
- Physically load and unload delivery vans while dealing with obstacles such as curbs, docks, tight parking lots, etc. Verify truck/van is loaded accurately before leaving with deliveries for the day
- Unload / stock product in the taproom coldbox, post inventory transfers in brewery management software
- Pickup raw materials and kegs from off-site suppliers and storage locations as needed
- Assist with our weekly Tuesday canning run: weighing and packing cans off the line
- Provide excellent customer service, field questions or concerns from accounts, and take re-orders as needed
- Post and send invoices through the CRM
- Rotate inventory and front-face cans at accounts
- Deliver samples and collect empty kegs
- Collect payment as needed
- Report back to the Sales Manager regarding any account needs, concerns, or feedback
- Execute liquor store tastings as needed (typically scheduled 4-6pm on Thursdays)
Qualifications
- Represent Cerebral Brewing professionally when interacting with customers
- Excellent oral communication skills
- One year of experience driving a van or truck preferred
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a history of no suspensions or at fault accidents within the last three years, no DUI/DWI within the past seven years
- Must get ABT certification within first 30 days of employment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move 25lb cases and lift and/or move 165lb kegs
- Frequent maneuvering in and out of delivery vehicles
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Compensation & Benefits
- $20 / hr and $18.81 / hr for canning shifts
