Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout

Imperial Stout aged 20 months in Laws San Luis Valley Straight Rye Whiskey barrels. We coordinated with our neighbor Chef Gonzo at Miette et Chocolat and the team at Laws to age Ecuadorian cacao nibs in the same style of barrel, then conditioned the beer on those barrel aged nibs and toasted coconut.
