This marks our first experiment aging Here Be Monsters in Rhum Agricole barrels, and we couldn’t be more excited about the results. Rhum Agricole’s naturally floral, grassy character brought a vibrant new dimension to the base beer, while our chosen vanilla blend – a mix of Tahitian and Vanuatu – helped bridge the gap between the spirit’s bright aromatics and the beer’s deep malt richness. The result is a beautifully layered expression that balances lively tropical florals with the familiar warmth of marshmallow-laced vanilla.
