Brewer’s Notes: Since introducing Here Be Dragons in 2024, we’ve been eager to explore how its distinctively black malt-forward character would respond to adjunct treatment. Fifty months in this wheated bourbon cask allowed the beer’s intense roast to slowly mellow into rich waves of dark chocolate, the very quality that made this base so compelling to us from the start. To complement this, we introduced Alor Island vanilla, a varietal new to our adjunct library, whose bold, creamy profile bridges the beer’s dark malt depth with the cask’s soft oak warmth beautifully.
