Barrel Aged Vienna Lager with Coffee
Fruit-fermented coffee has been on the rise within the last few years in the coffee world, but this is our first experimentation utilizing this type of coffee in brewing. This particular coffee from Corvus comes from Jairo Arcila’s Santa Monica farm, where fresh peaches are added to the tanks after an anaerobic pre-fermentation.
This beer’s journey is finished by aging in oak barrels. The combination of subtle oaky aromatics with a hint of juicy stone fruit balances beautifully with the malty backbone of this classic style.
