Brewer’s Notes: Vanilla Rye Here Be Monsters is one of the beers that put us on the map back in 2019, taking home gold at FOBAB and Best in Beer from Craft Beer & Brewing. This single barrel variant honors that legacy while charting its own path, spending 33 months in a single Willett Rye Whiskey barrel before being conditioned on some beautiful Ugandan vanilla beans. Where our previous batches leaned into bright, peppery spice, this Willett cask brings a deeper, more oak-driven character to the table, giving the vanilla something richer to play against.
